The Global Shapers Community-Lusaka Hub
The Lusaka Hub is part of the Global Shapers Community. The Global Shapers Community is an initiative of the World Economic Forum.
The Community is a network of inspiring young people under the age of 30 working together to address local, regional, and global challenges. With more than 8,000 members, the Global Shapers Community spans overt 400 city-based hubs in 160 countries.
About
Launched in 2013, the Lusaka Hub is made up of exceptionally talented and diverse young leaders from a variety of backgrounds - from entrepreneurs, technology and digital media specialists, students, media influencers, radio and television personalities to economists. The Lusaka Global Shapers all have a serving as well as an entrepreneurial spirit with unique qualities and are highly committed to making positive change in our communities.
We are dedicated to making a difference in Lusaka and want to develop our leadership potential towards serving society. We undertake projects, panel discussions, opportunity sharing, mentorship sessions and fundraising projects aimed at supporting vulnerable communities and learning institutions.
