Kamota Mayondi

An Auditor turned broadcaster, Kamota's knowledge of business and finance landed her a 4-hour morning show on Money FM, Zambia's first and only business talk radio station. She is an entrepreneur and an alumna of the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme. She co-founded Sole Source Limited, a start-up whose digital magazine and strategic online campaigns support the local restaurant industry growth Kamota has worked in online communications and social media management. Her writing credits include magazines, blogs and more recently, TuneMe, a UNFPA supported youth sex education web platform. An avid reader with a firm belief in the transformative change books have in the lives and minds of children, she volunteered time at a community library where she held reading clinics.
